The 21st century is a special time in human history. A set of challenges are present or emerging that will transform and disrupt global civilization and national societies.

Policy Foundry is a policy development and advisory unit focused on these global challenges. We develop high-quality and detailed policy proposals that would position Australia for the 21st century and work with advocacy organisations to shape Australian policy.

Our vision is Australia leading by example, with an Australian Government that has prioritised these challenges and leads the world in addressing them. We bridge the gap between academic knowledge and pragmatic, actionable policy.

Individually, the challenges provide massive opportunities for those countries that can navigate successfully, and potentially catastrophic risks for those that don’t. As a set, the challenges will see our civilisation impacted at a scale, level and speed never seen before in human history.
